It is with sadness we report the passing of one of the founders of the Council for Northeast Historical Archaeology. Mr. Wallace (Wally) Workmaster passed away in earlier this year at the age of 82. Mr. Workmaster was one of the founding members of the Council and served as its first chair from 1974 to 1977. An obituary detailing his many accomplishments can be found at:
